There He Makes His Dwelling Place

Here no other effort is needed, to go to meet God; accept him with a mind intent on that alone. Empty your bodily frame. Exhaust your heart of the six passions. Tuka says, Where desire ceases to exist, there he makes his dwelling place.

I Have Found a Sea of Love

I have found a sea of love, an inexhaustible flood; I have opened a treasure of spiritual knowledge, it diffuses the lustre of a million suns, arisen in thy worshipper’s souls.
Unexpectedly, without any effort, I have heard the eternal secret, I have learned to know God. The seed of the high reunion has been enfolded in my own destiny.
I have now beheld him in whose sight is all goodness, a sea of happy augury, the supreme power of mystic words. I have attained him, whose name is nectar, whose nature is pure, intellect free from passion.
The very joy of peace and compassion is found in the joy, that accompanies the knowledge of the being and knowing God.

When the Sun of Love Manifests

All that frightens and confuses you and grips you with despair is your own shadow. When the Sun of Love manifests in its glory and all faces are turned toward that Radiance, all shadows will have disappeared -- even the memory of them will have vanished!

Swallow Worry

The whole world is devoured by worry,
and worry is its master,
but he who swallows worry is the true fakir!

Path of Love and Meditation

When he [Don Stevens] next met Baba, he asked him why Baba did not urge persons like himself to meditate.
Baba smiled and explained to Don Stevens:
“I am the Avatar and I must provide for all of the seven hundred to fourteen hundred years that go by after I drop the body and until I come again. During my manifestation and for some time after I drop my body, the high road of all roads of inner development is love and direct relatedness with the Avatar.
That road is now fully open to the aspiring seeker and should be used. But gradually, as the truth and presence of the Avatar begins to diminish, the ability to use the Path of Love begins to be less and less available.
Therefore, humanity will have to use lesser, secondary techniques. One of the very best of these is meditation, and so I have given out these extensive discourses on meditation.
However do not mistake me, because meanwhile -- during my manifestation (in my lifetime) and for some time afterwards -- it is a distraction and waste of an individual’s time and energies to use meditation. He should use all of his force and energies in utilizing this Path of Love that is fully open to him.”

Spiritual Energy in God Speaks

You must understand that whenever Baba gives out words for his lovers to use and read, he attaches a spiritual energy to them -- something like an atomic spiritual bomb! This is especially true in God Speaks. Then, when one reads those words, even if he does not understand even one word of what he reads, a part of the spiritual energy will be absorbed by that person. And this energy will be very important for that person in his spiritual progress.

Love is the Creation of the Soul.

Feeling and emotion are only the creation of mind and energy.  Love is the creation of the soul.

To draw nearer to God-Realization

To draw nearer to God-Realization you have to draw further away from pride, deception, obstinacy and self-assertion to begin with. Love for all at all cost and humility at each step in everyday life is the key that opens the door to God-Realization. This can only be done as one begins to mature spiritually after many stumblings and hardships.
